It was the first event for the juniors since well before lockdown started. We had 5 brave young anglers turn up on Healey dell for an evening match.  The conditions had been poor all day but it brightened up in the evening. Pegs were drawn and the youngsters started to catch some really good fish. The time flew by and it seemed to be Zac Eaton who was bagging well bringing in some quality roach. Zyaam on peg 6 was fishing his first match and hooked some quality fish. At the other end newcomer lewis managed to catch a big Ide. Harry under the watchful eye of Alan Knowles hooked a carp and seemed to be playing it for ages before it came off. Oliver had a good session before retiring to the car for a nap.

The weigh in arrived and it was Lewis who won the match with a weight of 7lbs 15oz closely followed by Zac with 7lbs 2oz.

4th Harry   2lb

4th Zyaam 2lb

Massive well done to Lewis for the win tonight. Can i also say a massive thank you to the members who turned up to assist the juniors and make it a really good night.
